EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht is cooperating with Zurich-based FQX with immediate effect. Professor Dr. Ulrich Segna, Dean of EBS Law School and Chair of Civil Law, Commercial and Business Law and Law of Non-Profit Organizations, joins the FQX Advisory Board and serves as a legal expert for the FinTech.

FQX is radically facilitating trade finance & money markets by using eNotes™, a disruptive short-term financing & payment instrument, built on an unconditional promise to pay a specific sum to another party at a specific future date. The eNote™ is based on Blockchain technology and can be flexibly sold and transferred to any third party (i.e. an investor). FQX is the first market-ready solution for eNotesTM, which is built on a banking-grade Blockchain (Swiss Trust Chain) with a unique, patent-pending authentication mechanism. Professor Dr. Segna will add further highly valued legal expertise and credibility to the internationally reputed advisory board of FQX and to the team at FQX as a whole.

Professor Dr. Ulrich Segna: “FQX is built on a brilliant technical and legal platform. I am delighted to join the advisory board of FQX and work together with a superb team of seasoned practitioners and leading experts dedicated to establishing FQX as the leading global infrastructure for digitized promissory notes.”

Dr. Philipp von Randow, co-founder and General Counsel of FQX, comments: “FQX is committed to stay ahead of the ever changing technological and legal curve in the digital securities space. We are therefore very proud to have won Professor Ulrich Segna as an internationally highly renowned expert of digital securities for FQX and very much look forward to cooperating with EBS as an innovative university focusing on transformative legal and financial technologies.”
