EBS Universität is expanding its funding opportunities for Master’s students: from the winter semester of 2026, three partial scholarships will be awarded annually as part of the newly established Vogel & Detambel Scholarship Programme. In addition, the Vogel & Detambel Excellence Award will be presented once a year in recognition of exceptional extracurricular commitment.

The Scholarship Programme supports students starting a Master’s degree over a period of two academic years by covering 20 per cent of their tuition fees. The aim is to support particularly high-achieving and committed students in their academic and personal development. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, social engagement and individual circumstances. With this new funding programme, EBS is sending a strategic signal in favour of equal opportunities and the targeted support of high-achieving young talent.

“Supporting talented young professionals is a key priority for EBS. With the new Scholarship Programme, we are creating additional opportunities for Master’s students to successfully embark on and shape their studies,” says Dr Dorothée Hofer, Managing Director of EBS Universität.

In addition to the scholarships, the Vogel & Detambel Excellence Award, with prize money of €10,000, is also presented annually. The award recognises a student who has demonstrated exceptional extracurricular commitment. The award ceremony takes place as part of the EBS graduation ceremony.
