EBS student attends LSGL Summer School in South Africa
EBS Law School student Alina Dambacher participated in this year’s Summer School of the Law Schools Global League (LSGL). The programme took place at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.

The Law Schools Global League is an alliance of leading law schools from around the world, aiming to promote the internationalisation of legal education and foster exchange on global legal issues. EBS Universität continues to be the only German university that is part of the LSGL network. Its annual Summer School is designed for students interested in international and comparative law, offering insights into different legal systems worldwide.
When asked why she decided to join, Alina Dambacher explained that the programme sounded very interesting and she did not want to miss the opportunity to meet students from all over the world in South Africa. She was particularly impressed by how quickly the group grew together, by the great kindness of the people on site, and by the differences in legal systems and how these influence legal thinking. Her recommendation for other EBS Law School students considering the programme is clear: “Just do it.”
In addition to numerous new friendships and many great memories, Alina Dambacher gained valuable insights into how legal issues are approached in different countries.
