EBS Law School awarded the FIBAA Premium Seal
The FIBAA rated in particular the university’s internationality, student counselling and the interface between degree and job market. According to expert opinion, EBS law students benefit from a transparent admissions procedure and ongoing guidance from both lecturers and the university administration staff. A wide range of offers at the beginning of their professional life increases the graduates’ career opportunities. Guest lecturers with practical business experience combined with long-term cooperation between law firms and corporations guarantee a close interaction between theory and practice. A mandatory trimester abroad promotes intercultural competence. According to the FIBAA expertise, the teaching of academic methods and ethical issues is also exemplary. “The FIBAA Premium Seal illustrates that all stakeholders have done splendid work over the years”, says FIBAA Managing Director Professor Kerstin Fink. “The study programmes at the EBS Law School have once again proved their outstanding quality.” The Master study programme “MSC Automotive Management” of the EBS Business School has also held the Premium Seal since September 2016.
In the initial part of the award procedure, internationally renowned experts from professorate, law practice, business and student body examine the programmes during an on-site visit. They examine the study programmes from the perspective of objectives, admission, contents/structure/didactical concept, academic environment as well as quality assurance and further development. The FIBAA Premium Seal is only awarded if an excellent level of quality is achieved in all evaluation criteria. The final decision regarding the award of the Seal until 2023 has now been announced by the FIBAA Accreditation Commission. “We are delighted to receive this award. This encourages us to continually develop our teaching and learning concept which stands for high academic standards, practical relevance, internationality and individual counselling from day one”, says EBS President Professor Markus Ogorek. We are particularly grateful to all our colleagues as, without their tireless dedication, an award such as this would not have been possible.”
