In an analysis by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE), EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht was ranked among the top 10 in business administration in Germany.

The Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) conducted a differentiated analysis at German universities and universities of applied sciences to examine the quality of teaching at subject level in a European and German comparison. In this analysis, EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht ranked among the top 10 in business administration in Germany.

The analysis carried out by the CHE is based on the results of the U-Multirank university ranking published in 2018. The analysis covers a total of 73 German universities with 330 subject areas. The focus was on six selected indicators from the field of “Studies and Teaching”, which were surveyed for all subjects. The indicators general student satisfaction, quality of courses, organisation of the study programme and contact with teachers were derived from a student survey, while the supervision ratio and the proportion of Bachelor’s degrees within the standard period of study were based on data from the universities.

In the field of business administration, EBS University ranks among the top 10 in Germany: “We are targeting small groups: our lectures are attended not by 200 students, but by 40. The close contact between lecturers and students and a high degree of practical relevance characterise the business administration studies at our university. The good result shows that we are on the right track with our training concept,” says Markus Ogorek, President of EBS University.
