LeasingMarkt.de and EBS Universität present leasing year review.

The trend from ownership to use continues - also with private customers. Together with LeasingMarkt.de, Prof. Dr. Sven Henkel and his team analyzed the preferences of LeasingMarkt.de users and their leasing inquiries. The leasing rearview mirror shows that 51.2 percent of vehicles went to private customers. In addition to the desire for a change and a new vehicle, it is becoming apparent that drivers are increasingly tending to not own a vehicle in order to reduce the risk in terms of suitability for everyday use and the long-term acceptance of new drive systems (especially electric mobility). A massive increase in the leasing share for electric vehicles is expected.
