Kerstin Hennig appointed as Honorary Professor for Real Estate Management

The Hessen State Ministry for Higher Education, Research and the Arts has appointed Dr. Kerstin Hennig, head of the EBS Real Estate Management Institute (REMI), as honorary professor. She is now EBS Professor for Real Estate Management.

Kerstin Hennig’s research focuses on Real Estate Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Real Estate Major Future Trends. “We congratulate Kerstin Hennig on her appointment. We are very proud that we were able to win over such an esteemed real estate expert for EBS REMI,” said Prof. Dr. Markus Ogorek, President of the University, who presented the certificate.

Kerstin Hennig was appointed Head of EBS REMI in April and Academic Director of EBS Real Estate Executive Education in May, based on her expertise and more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. Her previous professional stations have included debis Immobilien-Management, Tishman Speyer Properties, UBS AG, IVG Immobilien AG and Groß & Partner. Among the projects for which she was responsible for are the debis properties at Potsdamer Platz, Gateway Gardens, the Opera Tower in Frankfurt and the world’s longest office building - The Squaire - at Frankfurt Airport.

As head of EBS REMI, Kerstin Hennig is responsible for the expansion, marketing and positioning of the institute. She has taken on numerous lectures in both the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in the field of Real Estate and supervises Master’s theses and research projects with external partners. In addition, she sees her clear mission in research and will in future contribute her scientific findings to teaching and strategic work for REMI.
