Festival of Cultures: EBS students support refugees in Lorch
Party with many international guests: residents of the refugee house
Against a backdrop of music and dancing, culinary specialities from all over the world were served to the guests: coffee beans roasted over an open fire for Ethiopian coffee indulgence, Syrian almond specialities, marinated fish from the Congo as well as Afghan, Pakistani and Persian food. The students have worked together with the refugee house since 2016. Meanwhile teams come every week to play, organise sporting activities and to help filling out applications. For the University, the idea behind this programme is that students can further develop their linguistic, intercultural and social skills. The Festival of Cultures was a great success, in fact everyone is already looking forward to the Spring Festival.
