EBS PhD student wins Emerald Outstanding Doctoral Research Award

Henrik Franke wins the 2020 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award. His supervisors Prof. H. Sebastian Heese (now North Carolina State University), and Prof. Dr. Kai Foerstl (EBS) are excited about the great news and congratulate Henrik wholeheartedly on this excellent achievement.

Former EBS PhD student Dr. Henrik Franke (now ETH Zürich), has been selected by the editorial team of the International Journal of Operations & Production Management, as the winner of the 2020 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award in the operations and production management category for his research on ‘Behavioral Challenges to Cross-Functional Teams: Essays on Politics and Conflict in Global Sourcing Decision Making’. Henrik’s research appeared in internationally leading general management and operations & supply chain management outlets such as Decision Sciences, dem Journal of Business Logistics and the European Management Journal.
