EBS Universität congratulates Bachelor of Laws graduates
EBS student Hendrik Hupfer (l.) was honoured for his outstanding bachelor thesis by Thomas Reischauer, lawyer and partner at Clifford Chance.
EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht offers law-students the opportunity to earn three academic degrees in five years. The first legal examination (formerly 1st state examination) has the highest priority. Subsequently, students can opt for a Master of Arts (M.A.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) at EBS Business School. With the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), students also gain an attractive degree after just three years.
Unlike the First State Examination, the LL.B. is not awarded on the basis of a final examination, but is made up of credit points during the first ten trimesters. The students complete their bachelor thesis after the ninth trimester. After the subsequent oral defence, the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) students are awarded their degree during a festive ceremony. Over 90% of LL.B. graduates at EBS Universität continue their studies.
The Bachelor of Laws is a degree recognised in Germany and abroad that qualifies students for jobs with a legal background. For example, graduates can work in the legal departments of companies, in auditing and tax firms, or in administration.
