Mrdjan Mladjan received his PhD in Economics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. During his PhD studies he was a visiting scholar at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds a BSc in Economics degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mrdjan’s research focuses on the real effects of financial crises, while most of his doctoral thesis is dedicated to estimating the effects of commercial bank failures during the Great Depression.
