The new logo was visible for the first time at EBS University's anniversary celebration on September 10.
EBS University (EBS) strengthens its brand positioning and presents itself in a new corporate design. From January 2023, EBS will be displaying a distinct and modern brand image that sums up the core value of EBS university education: "Leadership for tomorrow".
The economy and society are facing profound challenges. To meet these challenges, we will need leaders who will actively develop and manage change, and highlight ways, resources and solutions. Taking on responsibility in a world whose future tasks demand global solutions and international cooperation requires courage and decisive leadership. Together with sound professional know-how, the qualities that must distinguish the elite of tomorrow include an unequivocal stance and a strong understanding of values.
EBS teaches these excellent and visionary leaders whose vision is to change the world for the better. Students are not only taught specialised knowledge and skills using the most modern didactic methods, special attention is also paid to the development of a strong personality. Students are provided with individual support from the EBS Coaching and Leadership Hub to help them bring out the best in themselves - building on their own strengths. EBS teaches the elite of tomorrow who want to make a difference in the world and are guided by a clear set of values: courage, responsibility, consideration and backbone. True to the motto: "Leadership for tomorrow".
Implementing the brand
The new brand identity visually translates the new positioning and transposes it into a logo that is both tradition-conscious and future-oriented. Thus building the bridge between the 51-year history of the university and the future of EBS. The new brand identity comes with a new logo - a coat of arms -, new colours - premium anthracite and copper complement the royal blue - and a new font, which together create a contemporary and distinct university image. The new design helps to make the quintessence of EBS come alive for everyone.
A future-oriented direction
"At our university we teach the leaders of the future. We focus on an all-embracing educational approach with a strong emphasis on strengthening the personality, because our graduates have to prove themselves in a highly dynamic professional environment and assume social responsibility. This enables our students to bring out the best in themselves, equipping them in the best possible way to change the world. Our new brand image underscores our claim," says Prof. Martin Böhm, Rector of EBS University and Professor of Marketing.
"With the new brand identity, we are leading EBS University into the future. The defined values 'entrepreneurial', 'courageous and challenging' and 'excellent and leading' are in line with the vision of the education and healthcare company SRH," emphasises Prof. Christof Hettich, Chairman of the Board of SRH, of which EBS has been a member since 2016.
The redesigned website has been online since mid-September. People can already experience the new brand at various points on the Campus Schloss in Oestrich-Winkel. The entire branding process will be completed by January 2023. The new brand identity is the result of a multi-stage development process that was created in close cooperation with SRH.
