World Economy

This module covers the foundations of international economics as well as the most important economic trends (e.g. globalization, BREXIT, Donald Trump’s trade policy,…). The course also discusses the effects of monetary and fiscal policy and outlines the economic policy options. The students will work on current economic problems (financial crisis, unconventional monetary policy, refugee crisis… ) and discuss solutions to those challenges.
