The course will cover two perspectives:

The first part will cover how Startups are founded around the world and what make them successful. It will deal with the motivating factors for founders as well as the promoting factors from the environment and capital markets. The course will focus on (famous) cases how entrepreneurs build up their businesses, how they scaled them up and found investors for their future growth.

The second part will deal with investors perspectives, especially Venture Capital and Corporate Venture Capital as two major forms. E.g. What are typical forms of investments, what are main criteria, how are Startups evaluated and selected ?Interesting guest speakers, CV and CVC representatives will be invited to further deepen evidence and authentically share their personal insights.
