Real Estate Management Institute

The EBS Real Estate Management Institute was founded in 2006 and is part of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Real Estate at the Business School of EBS Universität. The Institute bundles all real estate-related activities of EBS Universität in four key fields of activity: university education, research, scientific consulting and further education. Excellent ranking results, high graduate satisfaction levels as well as an extensive network into the industry testify to the excellent work in this extremely interdisciplinary field. The aim of REMI is to train the real estate industry’s management and research elite in a wide-ranging and future-oriented manner.

EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht has been successful in recruiting Dr. Hans Volkert Volckens, Partner and Head of Real Estate and Asset Management at KPMG Germany, as adjunct professor, beginning in the 2020/21 winter semester.

Jan Hendrik Lukowski, doctoral candidate at the Real Estate Management Institute of EBS Universität, won the “Best PhD Paper Award 2019”. Hearty congratulations from Prof. Kerstin Hennig, Professor of Real Estate and Head of EBS Real Estate Management Institute (REMI), and the entire EBS Universität.

At the end of June, Prof. Kerstin Hennig, head of the Real Estate Management Institute, together with two doctoral students, took part in the annual international forum of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) in Milan, at the renowned Università Bocconi.
