Mergers & Acquisitions Institute
The Mergers & Acquisitions Institute (M&A Institute) is the first inter-faculty research unit of Law School and Business School at EBS Universität and was founded in 2016 by the institute’s directors Professor Dr. Tim Florstedt, Dr. Klaus Marinus Hoenig, Professor. Dr. Diane Robers and Professor Dr. Dirk Zetzsche and is established in Wiesbaden.
The objective of the M&A Institute is the scientific investigation of national and international issues in the field of corporate transactions. The research and knowledge exchange at the Institute is characterized by a close synergetic combination of legal and economic perspectives. Intensive contacts to major international law firms, major commercial enterprises and investors in the private sector enable a practice-relevant, yet independent research approach. At the same time, the cross-faculty association is integrated into university education.
