Julia Elspaß is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Strategic Marketing since 2019. Bachelor studies ‘International Marketing’ at Fontys International Business School in Venlo (Netherlands). Master studies ‘Business Administration’ with major in Management & Marketing at Mercator School of Management (Universität Duisburg-Essen). After her studies she worked several years as Product Manager at a leading German marketer and distributor for international gourmet food, savoury snacks and confectionery brands on the German food retailing market.
Research interests: Strategic marketing, trade/retail marketing (focus on food retailing industry), brand management (incl. private label and retail branding), consumer behaviour, sustainability marketing.
