Christoph Wolf has been a postdoctoral professor of criminal law and criminal procedure law at the EBS Law School since May 2017. He began his law studies in 2001 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität in Frankfurt. After a one-year study programme abroad, at the University of Leicester (UK), he took his first state examination in Frankfurt in 2007. From 2007 - 2009 Christoph completed his legal clerkship, concluding this with the second state examination in 2009. He began work as a research associate at the EBS Law School in 2012. In February 2017, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis at the University of Passau. His material law-related thesis, in the field of the General Section of the Criminal Code, entitled “Error facti et error iuris - the irrelevance of intention in error of law”, deals with the subject of error of law.
