Since 2009 Andreas Dombret is honorary professor at the European Business School, where he lecturers on financial markets and financial crisis. Andreas Dombret began his career at the headquarters of Deutsche Bank, and since 2010 he is member of the executive board of the Deutsche Bundesbank responsible for Financial Stability, Statistics and Risk Control. Dombret is member of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the Supervisory Board of the Single Supervisory Mechanism as well as the German Financial Stability Committee. From 2005 to 2009, Andreas Dombret has been the Vice Chairman of Bank of America Global Investment Banking in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as Head of the German, Austrian and Swiss branches. Prior to joining Bank of America, he was a Managing Director and the Co-Head of Rothschild Germany.
