Myriam Bechtoldt holds a PhD in work and organizational psychology and a diploma (comparable to M.Sc.) in psychology. After her PhD, she was assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Prior to joining EBS she was Full Professor of Organizational Behavior at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Her scientific work has been published in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Emotion, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and Harvard Business Manager. Her research focuses on emotions at work, specifically on emotional intelligence, stress and health at work, and creativity in groups. Besides, Myriam Bechtoldt is a systemic psychotherapist. Before she embarked on her academic career, she worked as a journalist.
