Elena Jarocinska works as Lecturer of Economics at the EBS Department of Management & Economics since 2015. She holds a PhD in Economics, Finance and Management from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics – University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. She is also Research Fellow at CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research, a leading Polish economic think tank. At CASE, she has coordinated and participated in applied economic projects for the European Commission on various topics, including pensions, EU regional funds, the EU single market, and labor policies. She has been involved in policy advising in Russia, Georgia, and Moldova. She has also worked as a consultant in the OECD project on the fiscal constitutions of federal countries. Elena Jarocinska is the author of several academic and policy papers. Her research and teaching interests include public economics, institutional economics, managerial economics, and competition policy. At EBS, she teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.
