Dr. Clemens Buchen is a Post-Doc at the Department of Management and Economics. He read economics at Viadrina University in Frankfurt (Oder) and holds a doctoral degree from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. In his thesis he examined the emergence and change of economic institutions in different contexts of transition periods and structural changes. Dr. Buchen was a Marie-Curie fellow at the University of Tartu (Estonia) from 2012 to 2013. He teaches Economics and Mathematics in the undergraduate programs at the EBS Business School and Principles of Economics at the EBS Law School. His research work includes applied microeconomics and evolutionary game theory in the fields of Law and Economics and New Institutional Economics.
