Unique in Germany, our "Transformation and Turnaround Manager" certificate programme equips managing directors, executives, CTOs and CROs (interim managers), financiers, supervisory and advisory board members, and shareholders with practice-tested tools to proactively initiate transformation and turnaround processes and successfully shape corporate transformations. By taking part in the programme, participants can expand and formally document their personal competence profile as a Transformation and Turnaround Manager.

What to Expect

An integral part of the programme is the so-called "Transformation Talks." In this format, experienced transformation experts share their personal experience from transformation and turnaround projects with our programme participants. The Transformation Talks take the form of relaxed "fireside chats" held in the evening after the day's seminar sessions. These are followed by a shared meal with our guest speakers and fellow participants. This intensive, personal exchange builds networks that continue to thrive long after the programme has ended.

 

In the "Strategic Realignment & Business Model Redesign" block, you will learn how to strategically realign your company, systematically develop your business model further, including with regard to the megatrend of digitalisation, and identify operational value levers and implement value-enhancing measures.

 

In the "Leadership & Cultural Transformation" block, you will learn how to develop and live out a leadership concept that strengthens employees' initiative, autonomy and trust, and how to create the conditions for effective, agile working. In doing so, you will build a positive, agile corporate and leadership culture characterised by strong openness to change and innovative capacity.

 

In the "Restructuring Law & Liability Avoidance" block, you will get to know the different legal frameworks for implementing restructuring measures (out-of-court restructuring, StaRUG, debtor-in-possession restructuring) and be able to assess which option is likely to deliver the best results in a given case. You will also learn how to avoid personal liability risk as a company officer or adviser.

 

In the "Negotiation & Implementation (Including Case Study)" block, you will practise how to conduct successful negotiations with stakeholders in order to bring everyone on board. You will also learn the success factors for effective implementation management and how change projects can be efficiently delivered within a Project Management Office (PMO) framework. As part of a case study, you will develop your own transformation and turnaround concept, allowing you to apply the knowledge gained throughout the programme.
