Wiesbaden is the seat of EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht EBS Law School Campus is centrally located in the “Atrium House”, near to Wiesbaden’s main railway station. The station, leisure and shopping facilities are within easy reach on foot or by public transport.
Wiesbaden is the capital of the federal state of Hesse and, boasting several hot springs, one of the oldest spa towns in Europe.
Counting a population of around 275,000 inhabitants, Wiesbaden is the second largest city in Hesse behind Frankfurt and has established itself as the headquarters of insurance companies and government departments. Together with Mainz, Darmstadt and above all Frankfurt, Wiesbaden is one of the major cities in the Rhine-Main area, one of the largest and economically strongest metropolitan regions in Europe.
With its banks and financial institutions, Messe Frankfurt – the world’s largest trade fair organiser – and Frankfurt Airport, Frankfurt has become an economic and cultural hub for Europe and the world.
Wiesbaden has a varied cultural life. Experience events in the Wiesbaden Kurhaus, for instance, or visit performances in the Hesse State Theatre and exhibitions in the Rhein-Main-Hallen. Also worth a visit are Schloss Freudenberg and the very many other cultural centres in the region.
