Frequently asked questions
Is there a selection or application interview?
Yes. A no-obligation advisory and introductory conversation with Sina Röther beforehand is a requirement for taking part in our coaching and leadership programmes. It also gives both sides the chance to talk things through so that any questions can be answered.
Why do you place such importance on getting to know each other personally, how does it take place?
The introductory conversation can take place by telephone or via Microsoft Teams, and gives you the opportunity to find out about the coaching and leadership programmes in detail. In the confusing jungle of coach training courses and offerings, we are told time and again that the no-obligation consultation provides reassurance.
What payment options do you offer?
For a one-off fee of €100, the Executive School at EBS University allows participants to set up their own individual instalment plan.
Can the training be claimed for tax purposes?
In principle, the tuition fees for the certificate programmes, as well as additional meal costs, accommodation and travel expenses, can be claimed as income-related expenses (Werbungskosten). For your personal tax situation, we recommend consulting your tax adviser, as the Executive School at EBS University is not permitted to provide tax advice.
Can I apply for educational leave for the training?
Whether a certificate programme can be recognised as educational leave depends on the federal state in which your employer is based. You can use up to 5 working days per calendar year as educational leave, or up to 10 working days if you combine them across two calendar years. Please get in touch with us!
What happens in the event of illness?
If you are ill or miss a coaching or leadership block, you can easily make it up in one of the following year's cohorts.
If you cancel the course, the terms and conditions of the Executive School at EBS Universität apply.
How does the registration process work?
Registration takes place via our Coaching & Leadership website, where you will be guided through the registration process step by step.
You will need to upload the following documents during the online registration process:
- Current CV
- Where applicable, the completed and signed form for cost coverage of up to 100% by your employer, or for cost sharing with you personally
Once you have made your decision, you should register on a binding basis as soon as possible, as places are limited to 16 participants and demand is very high.

What is included in the price?
For our coaching and leadership programmes, the tuition fees include all course materials. The fees also cover refreshments during breaks, lunch (restaurant visits) and examinations at the first and second attempt. An examination fee is charged for each further resit.
