AI in SMEs: How the Rheingau Business Forum Connects Companies, Knowledge, and the Future
For the tenth time, entrepreneurs from the region came together to exchange views on current topics and economic challenges, and to network.

Sometimes, a single evening is enough to show what makes a region strong. This was clearly felt at the 10th Rheingau Business Forum on the campus of EBS Universität: more than 120 entrepreneurs from the Rheingau region came together to discuss artificial intelligence in SMEs. Yet what left an even stronger impression was something else entirely - the openness of the exchange, the enthusiasm for joint development, and the clear sense that continuing education is more important today than ever before.
Expert keynote speeches from EBS Universität and practical insights from regional entrepreneurs made the relevance of the topic tangible. The focus was on how artificial intelligence can be used strategically, efficiently and responsibly, and on the specific opportunities this creates for SMEs in the Rheingau region.
“Only together are we strong. That is why we aim to be a strong partner for the Rheingau business community,” emphasised Carsten Sinß, Mayor of Oestrich-Winkel.
It was precisely here that the role of the EBS Executive School became particularly evident. It was not only the host of the evening, but also created a setting in which a networking event became more than just another exchange. It became a space for meaningful conversations, new ideas, and the realisation that continuing education does not begin at some distant point in time, but often exactly where questions are raised, impulses are taken up, and shared challenges become visible. Following the event, all participants were invited to continue the exchange over drinks in the newly renovated wine cellar of EBS Universität.
The 10th Rheingau Business Forum proved to be a thoroughly successful event. The evening highlighted the potential that lies in the close interplay between business, academia and continuing education, while once again underscoring the Executive School’s role as a key driver of ideas and innovation for the region.
