General Management - Dual Degree

International business studies with a double degree - with the business degree program in “General Management (International Business Studies)” you qualify optimally for a career in international business or for business masters programs.

You get an education with 210 ECTS, which sets standards: In this intensive program you will acquire the contents of seven semesters in just six semesters.

Your entire study course in English: at the EBS you study at international level in an international environment, so needless to say all lectures and activities are in English.

You gain practical knowledge with real added value: As a student you will benefit from our network of highly attractive business partners. We arrange internships in companies such as Accenture, BCG, BMW, Danone, Deloitte, German Bank, Ernst & Young, L’Oréal, Morgan Stanley, P & G, PWC and others. In addition, you are supported by our Career Services Center intensively at the start of your career and already establish contact with company representatives during your studies.

You gain international experience at some of the best universities in the world: You spend the first three semesters at EBS and then change to a foreign partner university for the rest of your studies. We currently offer a total of 11 universities in English, French , Spanish and Chinese speaking countries as double degree partners .

The six semesters in the course “General Management (International Business Studies)” are divided into three domestic semesters and three semester abroad , as well as two compulsory internships in renowned companies after the first and second year. An academic year at EBS consists of 2 semesters or 3 blocks. Courses at EBS are held in block I (September to December) and block II (January to April). Block III (May to August) is reserved for multi-week internships and - depending on the academic year - the creation of seminars and practical work.

Two degrees, one course of study

With the track International Business Studies you gain two internationally recognized degrees in just 6 semesters: in addition to the Bachelor of Science in General Management of EBS, you also get a degree of the partner institution where you spend your last 3 semesters of your studies. You can choose between a total of 12 universities in the English, French, Spanish, Central European and Chinese-speaking world. Each partner university is characterised differently, and you learn intensively to accept and appreciate other teaching and learning cultures. With regard to the acquisition of intercultural competence this experience is incomparable. Appropriately intensive language training during your time at EBS prepares you for your stay abroad and makes it easier for you to navigate on site and to connect with other students and the people who live there.

Studying at EBS makes considerable demands on your mathematical and linguistic knowledge, your logical and analytical thinking skills, your learning abilities and motivation as well as your personality. Whether you are admitted as a student at EBS depends on a successful selection process.


Your requirements

To be admitted to the Bachelor Selection Process at EBS University, please submit the following documents to us:

  • Your last two school reports. Your higher school-leaving certificate
    or an equivalent accredited foreign school-leaving certificate must be submitted at the latest at enrolment.
  • Your curriculum vitae and an essay.
  • Proof of English proficiency (e.g. TOEFL iBT or IELTS). Applicants whose native language is English or who have attended an English-speaking school do not need to submit proof of proficiency.

Recognising potential - The Bachelor Selection Day

  • Part 1 // Written test
    The written selection process takes approximately 90 minutes and is primarily devoted to the cognitive skills you require for a successful university study course. Here, your logical, analytical and mathematical skills will be tested. If no other proof of English proficiency has been furnished in advance you will also taking part in the EBS English test.

  • Part 2 // Personal interview
    The oral part of our selection process is an individual 60-minute interview consisting of an interview, a presentation and a text. Specially trained interviewers, with an economics background, examine the measure of motivation and social competence of each applicant.

First-class education in a private institution

The quality of teaching is our focus: The EBS represents one of the best management trainings throughout the German-speaking world . As a private university we fund us to a great extent from tuition fees.

  • Admissions process 100 Euro , with additional participation in the English test 185 Euro
  • Tuition fees of 6,950 Euro per semester
  • Registration fee once 690 Euro
  • Examination fee bachelor thesis 695 Euro

Motivation and performance are your drive

We try to allow excellent candidates access to our studies, regardless of their economic situation. Decisive factors here are performance, motivation and personality. The selection of funding of studies is diverse and often a combination of the different options is useful. Take a look at our study finance overview and find out which offer best suits you.

  • Scholarships - financial and / or non-material support, no repayment, no interest

The EBS herself, but also independent foundations offer scholarships in different style and performance.

  • Education Fund - Financial and moral support, if necessary, repayment including interest rates, repayment starts only after graduation

The former club of the EBS EBS Alumni supports students of EBS through a separate education fund.

  • Financing - Financial support by financial institutions, repayment including interest rates, repayment generally starts after signing the contract

A traditional financing from banks or financial institutions may be a good option to finance studies completely or in parts. The KfW Student Loan or the financing model of the Nassauische Sparkasse, for example.
