Real Estate Law & Capital Markets
EBS University distinguishes itself through its interdisciplinary study programmes in the fields of business and law. The real estate management perspective is also increasingly characterised by interdisciplinary linking of real estate economics and real estate law for all civil law and public law issues in the real estate industry. Wide-ranging expertise in real estate and tax law is required, particularly in real estate transaction management and project development. The EBS Real Estate Management Institute recognised this potential at an early stage and set up a thematically specialised Competence Centre for Real Estate Law and Tax Law.
Real estate law and tax aspects are integrated into the Bachelor and Master curriculum as well as into further education programmes with lecture series by leading experts in real estate law and real estate tax law. At this point, specific reference should be made to the fundamental guide “Immobilienwirtschaftslehre - Recht” (“Real Estate Economics - Law”) published primarily by REMI. A new edition is planned for 2020.
