This module provides an introduction to fundamental tools used in business analytics and research methods. The term Business Analytics is used to describe a set of analytical and quantitative practices to methodologically explore an organization’s data and employ the derived insights to support decision making. This module equips students with the skills to conduct an independent, high-quality study in the field of business and management. It covers the research process from choosing a topic, formulating a research problem, developing an appropriate research design, to collecting and analyzing data.
