FT Ranking 2015: EBS Business School climbs to 11th place and consolidates position in leading group
“This exceptional ranking is the result of our integrated management education with a special focus on promoting the personal growth and self-development of our students. This makes our graduates extremely attractive to employers at home and abroad”, commented Professor Richard Raatzsch, Dean of EBS Business School.
EBS achieved an excellent score in the category career development. “Our outstanding performance is above all due to the long years of intense cooperation with our alumni who maintain close personal contact with our students. With their experience and their network they provide support for career planning and successful career development”, explained Professor Raatzsch. EBS Career Services Center, which was established specifically to bring students and organizations together, also helps organizations with their recruitment process and assists students in making their first career steps. “A particular benefit offered to students at EBS are one-to-one coaching sessions with professional coaches, through which we not only equip students with specialist knowledge and skills, but also educate them to become future business leaders – an offering that is unique in the German higher education landscape”, said Professor Raatzsch.
Overall, the result confirms the University’s strategic direction to focus on outstanding quality in teaching and research.
EBS scored particularly well in the following categories of the Masters in Management ranking:
- In “General Management” EBS is ranked number four worldwide and is the top-ranked German business school.
- In “Finance” EBS Business School is ranked number five worldwide and, for the first time, is among the top ten in this category.
