Ms. Sangeeta Chauhan is responsible for Management of Academic Affairs in the Department of Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Taxation and Real Estate at the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Ms. Chauhan brings with her to the university almost two decades of combined experience in the professional, administrative and academic fields. This includes vast experience of design, development and rolling out of academic programs for universities in South Asia. She has worked extensively with universities, ministries of education, research organizations and industry in South Asia, Asia Pacific and Germany in her previous roles as Legal Officer to Academic Circles of the Regional Delegation for South Asia, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and as Advisor with the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy and Federal Ministry of Education and Research through German Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ) on projects and research in the field of highly qualified young professional mobility and inter govermental academic cooperation. Besides working for law firms, Ms. Chauhan has also taught International Humanitarian Law (IHL) to University Teachers, Students, Armed forces, Paramilitary Forces and Civil Servants in South Asia. As GIZ advisor, Ms. Chauhan has intensively supported various German organizations like DWIH, DAAD and DFG under the Indo German academic cooperation. Ms. Chauhan has Bachelor degree in Law (LL.B.) and Science (BSc.) from New Delhi, India and a Master in Law degree (LL.M. Finance) from the Institute for Law and Finance (ILF), Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main.
