Areas of Research
Convinced that business administration in particular can greatly benefit from an exchange of ideas between scientific research and economic practice, Prof. Alexander Pohl links his academic research and teaching activities with his main occupation in industry and vice versa. Thus students profit both from his theoretical and practice-oriented teaching.
In his research Prof. Pohl particularly focuses on issues concerning the areas of open innovation and price management. On both areas numerous specialized articles –reviewed in double-blind processes – have been published in high-level scientific journals. Moreover, his research results have been published in various compendiums and dictionaries of economic terminology.
