Chair of Business Taxation, International Tax Law and Auditing
Claim for Quality
Our students have high demands in our teaching. These claims we want to meet! For his exceptional level of commitment Prof. Dr. Adrian Cloer was awarded in April 2017 with the Excellence Award by the EBS’ students body.
Our lectures are generally given only by the Chair or particularly qualified (external) lecturers. External lecturers have to prove their expertise in accounting or taxation by a special professional qualification (auditors and tax consultants), as well as their teaching experience. Events given by external lecturers are irregularly visited by the Chairholder himself in order to ensure that the claims in terms of content (e.g. variety and level of topics) match as well as those in teaching methods (way of presentation, lecture accompanying materials). The responsibility for the performance monitoring remains with the Chair.
Lecture Complementary Exercises / Tutorials / Startax
As far as the lecture accompanying exercises and tutorials are not given by the Chair or highly qualified external lecturers, this kind of the curriculum is covered by the academic staff in close consultation with the Chair. This means both, a quality guarantee and the opportunity for the up-and-coming lecturers to obtain experience in the field of teaching.
