Strascheg Institute for Innovation, Transformation & Entrepreneurship (SITE)

Innovation, transformation, and entrepreneurship are the driving forces behind a high-performing and fast growing economy. The Strascheg Institute for Innovation, Transformation & Entrepreneurship (SITE) at EBS Business School focuses on these closely related topic areas. Our activities are geared towards embedding the knowledge gained in these fields in the three pillars research, teaching, and professional education, both at our university as well as in our own international partner network.

It is our goal to become one of the leading, nationally and internationally recognised institutions with core competences in Innovation Management, Transformation Management, Entrepreneurship, and Security Management. Furthermore, we want to strengthen our expertise in the areas of controlling, performance management, and project management.

We want to enable businesses to increase their competitiveness by supporting them to strengthen their innovation capacity, to achieve sustainable growth, and to continously train professionals and executives.

Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Ronald Gleich, a team of twelve professors and three directors at the SITE are responsible for the education of undergraduate and graduate students; the training of professionals; and various research endeavours.

  • Digital Transformation
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Controlling & Performance Measurement
  • Security Management

Although basic research builds the scientific foundation of our work, we consistently ensure that our research findings are application-led. To this end, we cooperate with and maintain an extensive regional, national, and international network of partners from practice and academia. In addition, we actively disseminate our research findings in the scientific community and business practice. For talented researchers seeking a way into science, our institute offers exciting opportunities through supporting their publication activities, know-how transfer within our network, and regular attendance at international conferences.
