Real estate shapes the world in which we live and work. The Real Estate Management specialisation gives you the investment, valuation and management expertise you need to build a career at the heart of this dynamic industry.
Your future in real estate
Real estate is one of the world’s largest and most complex asset classes. Graduates of this specialisation are well-positioned for careers as a real estate analyst, fund manager, asset manager, valuation expert or real estate investment banker – across both institutional investors and private real estate firms. With a solid grounding in investment methodology, property valuation and financing structures, you will be equipped to evaluate complex real estate decisions with precision. This specialisation also prepares those with broader ambitions, giving you the strategic and financial toolkit to move confidently across the entire real estate value chain.
The success of our alumni
Many of our alumni who specialised in real estate now hold senior positions across development, valuation and advisory.
Christoph Schulz, an EBS alumnus, built his career at EY Real Estate, where he rose to the role of director. His path demonstrates the doors that a strong foundation in real estate management and finance can open.

Master the fundamentals of real estate investment and management
The Real Estate Management specialisation at EBS gives you a comprehensive understanding of how real estate markets work and how to make sound investment and financing decisions. You will explore the full landscape of real estate management – from asset and property management to urban planning and development. Alongside this, you will develop practical valuation skills across income, sales comparison and cost approaches. A half-day excursion at the start of the programme introduces you directly to the industry from day one.
The second part of this specialisation takes you inside the world of real estate investment and finance. You will work with real investment data, apply cash flow models and Excel-based financial tools, and examine the financing structures and investment vehicles used by professionals in the field. A final case study challenges you to deliver a full investment recommendation, researching, processing and evaluating all relevant information before reaching a strategic decision. This is exactly the kind of thinking that defines a successful real estate career.
