Finance and Accounting at EBS Business School covers the fields of Finance, Accounting, Controlling und Taxation. Excellent and extensive research activities are connected with teaching in high-level degree and non-degree programmes.


The broad spectrum of courses covers around 30% of teaching at EBS Business School. We offer students a diversified and internationally oriented curriculum of the highest quality.

We engage in a wide range of activities, including collaborative projects with both national and international cooperation partners. Within EBS Executive Education we design and deliver corporate and certificate programmes for executives and managers helping to achieve operational excellence and business results.

A particular hallmark of our programmes is the accreditation of our BSc programme by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute enabling our BSc students to CFA Level I exam as part of their studies at EBS.

Prof. Rasa Karapandza was able to reunite top founders, investors and tough leaders from the FinTech arena so that EBS students can develop theoretical and practical understanding of the forces transforming financial services globally. Students will learn about many entrepreneurial challenges, demystifying social media buzz words like blockchain, AI, roboadvisory and Fintech in general and will be learning from real cases and from FinTech leaders that are transforming the world of financial services.

Prof. Paterlini has been invited to participate with her students at the European Rotman European Trading Competition as the representative for Germany. The Rotman European Trading Competition (RETC) is a three-day event built with the cooperation between the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome and the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
