Welcome to Business School Library
The Business School Library is the central place for teaching, research and executive education at the Business School. The library team considers it as one of its main tasks to respond to the particular and individual needs of students, academic staff and participants of various executive education programs and to provide and support them during their studies or in their research work.
The Library is located on the Schloss Campus on the top floor of the Leisler-Kiep-Center and offers library users with the online catalogue access to approximately 71.000 books and journals, both electronically and printed.
76 conventional working places (including 13 computer workstations) offer the possibility to study and learn in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, overlooking the Rhine. Additionally, there are further group workplaces in the break out rooms. WLAN access is EBS campus-wide possible.
The eLibrary via the EBS online portal myEBS offers access for students and members of the university to a wide range of databases, for example Elsevier Science Direct, Passport, Scopus, EBSCO and JSTOR, most of which you can comfortably research through our Primo Discovery Service. Moreover, on some terminals where financial market data portals installed, for example Thomson Reuters Eikon (former Datastream) and Bloomberg.
For printing, copying and scanning 3 multi-functional devices are available as well as the Zeutschel book scanner. Business School Library is a reference library which offers students an overnight loan in the evening hours. Longer loan periods only apply for staff members.
Additionally, our comprehensive service portfolio comprises the participation at the online interlibrary loan system, offers access to various document supply services and provides students and staff members with a research appointment service. Furthermore, Business School Library regularly offers library tours for students at the beginning of the semester and on every first Monday of the month.
