With the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM), a unique cooperation model among educational institutes, business practice and public administration has been initiated at the Frankfurt Airport. This collaboration shall become renowned as an international location for know-how in logistics and mobility, attract investments, and offer research opportunites, conventions, and exhibitions. The main objective is to link international partners with outstanding scientists and institutions in order to research, publish, develop, consult and teach together. HOLM will be a centre for education, training and continuing education for experts and executives, a think-tank for innovative concepts and business ideas, as well as an attraction pole for businesses and creative young talents.
The EBS Business School is one of the university partners of HOLM; EBS President Prof. Dr. Christopher Jahns belongs to one of the founding directors. Prof. Dr. Stefan Walter became director of the "Founding Initiative Frankfurt-HOLM e.V." at the beginning of 2009.
