New Study: Risk Management in the Automobile Industry

The financial and economic crises have had negative influences on the automobile industry. Unfortunately, insolvencies in supplier networks are daily occurences. At the same time, there are still companies who manage better than others during these difficult times. How? The Supply Chain Management Institute (SMI) of the  EBS Business School is investigating this question by carefully examining the supply networks of automobile companies, with the support of Dun & Bradstreet. Specifically, the structure and characteristics of the automobile industry are being analysed in order to better evaluate the risk of bankruptcy and to make recommendations for risk-oriented network design.

Experts from science and practice would greatly appreciate your participation in the online survey: www.supplyinstitute.org/lieferantenrisiko.html  To show our appreciation, you may participate in the Supplier-Risk-Check from Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) free of charge; further information is also available at this Internet address.

Together we can establish plans in order to avoid insolvencies. Please help us in our efforts!
