- Self-contained summary of up to 100 words outlining in a single paragraph the aims, scope and conclusions of the paper; acknowledgements (if any). Up to three key words or phrases (maximum 10 words in total) to facilitate access and indexing
- Only for complete competitive and (accepted) working papers an ‘educator & practitioner summary’ of max 50 words should be provided, which should address the practical relevance of the paper to educators, trainers, and practitioners (this information will also be used to file the paper in the IPSERA web-library)
- Main body of text, suitably divided under headings (see style)
- References
- Appendices

- Footnotes (‘endnotes’)
- Illustrations
Paper length (incl. all references, illustrations, etc.):
- Extended abstract: 3 pages
- Working paper: 10 pages
- Competitive paper: 16 pages
- Practitioner paper: 10 pages
Style:
- Papers and abstracts including footnotes, summary and references must be prepared according to the following guidelines, which are similar to the ones used by the Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management
Inclusion of the paper in the conference proceedings depends on following these guidelines:
- A4 paper size (no US Legal or other)
- font Times New Roman, 12 pt (across the whole document)
- single-spaced
- left-hand and right-hand margins of 25 mm
- top margin of 30 mm and bottom margin of 20 mm
- section headings; first level in bold, second level in italics – no section numbering
- no page numbers
- no headers or footers
The text should be organized under appropriate section headings, which, ideally, should not be more than 600 words apart. All headings should be aligned with the left-hand margin, with a double line space above and below. All measurements should be given in metric (SI) units.
