Programmes for Future Experts and Managers
Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, and Supply Management are promising sectors with ambitious and well educated experts and managers at the fore. Their task is to set up the value chain of today optimally. The management thereof includes making decisions about make-or-buy production, supplier selection and evaluation, planning and controlling of goods and information flows in procurement, distribution and disposal, as well as controlling and risk management. ISCM provides excellent education at the Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and PhD levels.
Bachelor Programme
ISCM education incorporates the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Management from the EBS Business School. The undergraduate courses Strategic Value Chain Management and Operations Management provided by the ISCM team are mandatory for all students of the programme. Furthermore, two concentrations are offered within the Bachelor programme: 1. Purchasing and Supply Management, 2. Logistics and Supply Chain Management. In addition, term papers in Purchasing, Logistics & Supply Chain Management can be written at the ISCM.
For the Aviation Management Bachelor programme, the specialized course Purchasing and Supply Management for Aviation Management is offered.

Master Programme
The Master in Management (M.Sc.) specialization, Supply Chain Management, qualifies future leaders for planning and controlling global networks. The programme imparts scientifically established knowledge, as well as practice-oriented analysis and solution competences. Students learn to develop, evaluate and implement strategies, concepts, and management approaches in logistics and supply management.
Students acquire an in-depth knowledge of theories, concepts, methods, empirical research, and practice in Purchasing, Supply Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
A strong focus is placed on the application of theoretical knowledge in the corporate environment. Typical business situations are introduced in case studies. Problem-solving skills and methods for managing supply chains and networks are practiced. Important corporate topics, current research and recent developments in the business world are addressed. Discussions, students’ presentations, and interactivity within the courses further contribute to an in-depth understanding of the topics.

Students with this specialization have the opportunity to earn a Dual Degree at one of two international universities:
- Master in Supply Chain Management at Tongji University, Shanghai, China
- MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Academy of National Economics, Moscow, Russia.

PhD Programme
Preparing young reserachers for an academic or business career is one of the main goals at ISCM. The ISCM doctoral prgramme is integrated in the EBS PhD programme and supported with further training and supervision from ISCM professors. ISCM provides two courses accessible for all EBS doctoral students: Case Study Research and Application of Organization Theories for Empirical Research.
