Professor Christopher Jahns studied Business Administration at the Phillips-Universität in Marburg and went on to gain his doctorate and postdoctoral qualification at the Technische Universität München.

Since June 2006, Professor Jahns has headed European Business School (EBS), first in the position of Dean and since April 2009 as President. In addition to his responsibilities as President of EBS, Professor Jahns also holds the SVI Endowed Chair of Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and is Executive Director of the Supply Chain Management Institute (SMI) at EBS that he founded in 2004. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the BrainNet Supply Management Group AG and since 2007 also active as an honorary board member of the German Logistics Association (BVL). In February 2009, Christopher Jahns was selected as a Young Global Leader 2008 by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
