The European Business School has always aimed at offering future business leaders  a cutting-edge education that will enable them to develop solutions in all business fields.

Leaders in business and politics have to master challenges containing complex, multi-level regulatory models shaping the state, business and civil society. Already by implementing the study track “Business Law” the EBS has met the rising demand for managers who are familiar with the theoretical and practical correlations between politics, law, institutions, and economic growth and can deliver first-class performance at the intersection of business, law and politics.
In combining the fields of Law, Governance and & Economics, the EBS emphasizes the importance of a basic education in the fundamental principles of business and commercial law. Furthermore, the university thus deepens research and education by discussing the complementarities between law, governance and economics.

Interdisciplinary research and education in the Department of Law, Governance & Economics increases the EBS students’ opportunities to leave our university as professionals with the cutting-edge knowledge demanded from globally thinking and acting managers.

In addition to Prof. Prof. Demougin, the EBS Department Law, Governance & Economics is academically managed by
