Academic Director | Vice President | Dean EBS Law School and Managing Director Professor Dr Dr Gerrick Frhr. v. Hoyningen-Huene

In September 2009, Prof Dr Dr Gerrick Frhr. v. Hoyningen-Huene assumed responsibility as Dean of the new EBS Law School. In this capacity he is not only responsible for setting up the Law School, but also for curriculum design and faculty appointments.

As Dean, the highly regarded employment law expert aims to establish EBS Law School not only as the youngest but also the most modern and innovative law faculty in Germany that will set new benchmarks in German legal education.

Vice President | Dean EBS Business School and Managing Director Professor Dr Rolf Tilmes

As Dean, Professor Rolf Tilmes is responsible for the academic administration of EBS Business School. His responsibilities involve managing academia that consists of 80 professors, 250 doctoral students, 200 corporate partners and more than 200 business school partners worldwide, as well as further expanding and strengthening EBS business studies faculty.

As an EBS alumnus and in his position as Dean of EBS Business School, which looks back on a history of over 40 years, Tilmes aims to consolidate and maintain the School's leading position among the best business schools not only in Germany but also in Europe. EQUIS accreditation in 2012 is an important milestone on this path.

Alongside his responsibilities as Dean, Tilmes is Head of the PFI Private Finance Institute at EBS where he also holds the Endowed Chair of Private Finance and Wealth Management. In addition, he is very active in executive education.

Before joining EBS, Tilmes gained extensive experience working for an international management consulting firm and for over ten years has held a management board position in the financial services sector.

Chancellor | CFO Georg Nikolaus Garlichs

In December 2010, Georg Nikolaus Garlichs became a member of EBS Management Board and assumed responsibility as Chancellor/CFO and for finance and accounting, financial control, facilities/buildings, HR and legal affairs.

Garlichs has several years of experience as managing director/CFO in medium-sized companies and more than 10 years experience as financial director /head of financial control in group companies.

After studying business and economics in Passau, Georg Nikolaus Garlichs studied international business and management in Berlin, Oxford and Paris graduating with a Diploma in Business Studies, a Diplôme de L'École Européenne des Affaires and a European Master of Management.
