Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
As a first professional qualification, the academic degree Bachelor of Laws (LLB) opens up career opportunities that go beyond those offered by a traditional law degree.
By providing an additional business studies qualification, our LLB programme integrates two disciplines, opening up new career prospects in traditional business areas that require legal knowledge.
Equipped with the knowledge and skills acquired in business law, legal English and negotiation management and depending on their chosen focus area, graduates from the programme are able to start their career in human resources or legal departments, in contract management or compliance departments, with insurance companies or banks, in management consulting, auditing and taxation and insolvency administration or with trade associations and foundations. Thanks to the programme's international dimension graduates are predestined for a career abroad or with companies engaged in cross-border operations. The higher ranks of the civil service also present a promising career opportunity.
The LLB at EBS Law School provides a comprehensive grounding in specialist legal skills, in other words an understanding of legal methodology. Equipped with this competence you will quickly become familiar with unknown legal material. Graduates with an LLB degree are therefore already able to pursue a career as a non-regulated legal professional or gain specialist legal knowledge by taking a Master's degree.
