Christian Landau received his doctoral degree from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In his thesis, he analysed how private equity firms can make an active contribution to value creation in their portfolio companies. Prior to joining EBS, Christian Landau was working as a research associate at the University of Technology Berlin.
Currently, Christian Landau works mostly in the field of competitive strategy. In particular, he is doing research on business model design and strategic management of companies operating in high tech and dynamic industries. Christian Landau is also interested in private equity and corporate strategy, especially in diversification strategy and the role of the corporate centre in a diversified firm.
