The EBS Business School has always aimed at offering future business leaders  a cutting-edge education that enables them to make decisions in all business fields.

Leaders in business and politics have to master challenges containing complex, multi-level regulatory models shaping government, business and civil society.

By implementing the study track “Business Law”, EBS has already met the rising demand for managers who are familiar with the theoretical and practical correlations between politics, law, institutions, and economic growth and who can deliver first-class performance at the intersection of business, law and politics.

The department of Governance & Economics already covers a wide spectrum of research and teaching topics. By collaborating closely with the newly funded EBS Law School, the department further fosters the interconnection between law and economics.

Thus, the university assures a solid education in the fundamental principles of business and commercial law that meets the highest standards. At the same time, the university enriches research and education by discussing the complementarities between law, governance and economics.

Interdisciplinary research and education in the Department of Governance & Economics increases the EBS students’ opportunities to leave our university as professionals with the cutting-edge knowledge needed for acting and thinking in a global management context.
