Overview

The Institutes Finance, Accounting and Real Estate combine to one of the biggest German Departments of its kind: EBS FARE Department. We offer our students a diversified and internationally orientated curriculum of highest quality covering the central fields of Business Financing, Accounting and Taxation as well as Real Estate Management.
At FARE, we commit ourselves to two missions: Excellent research with national and international partners from the academic and corporate world and high quality degree and non-degree study programmes which meet current business requirements.
Publications in internationaly high rankeg journals and best paper awards of our professors show that FARE research activities are up to the highest academic standards. Within our contract research activities, we initiate joint research projects with our partners and develop solutions for problems that national and international companies have to face in their daily business.
We qualify our students for permanently changing markets and business requirements. A particular success in this regard is the the acknowledgment of the EBS BSc programme by the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) Institute under the aegis of FARE. Thanks to FARE's excellent programme and teaching quality, EBS BSc graduates are from now on prepared to take the level I CFA exam.
We do not only investigate with our partners, but we do also offer company and certificate programmes for their leading managers as part of the EBS Executive Education. Like in the fields of teaching and research, the close cooperation of all subdivisions of the FARE Department garantuees outstanding results of our executive education programmes.
