Book "Strategic Enterprise Architecture Management" - what executives can learn from urban development
Strategic Enterprise Architecture Management" selects concepts from urban development and transfers these to the management of a company. The book – edited by Prof. Dr. Frederik Ahlemann, Prof. Dr. Christine Legner, Marcus Messerschmidt, and Eric Stettiner – shows how eight leading European companies plan and implement their enterprise and IT architectures.
Based on these experiences in the automotive, banking, public administration, trade, insurance, logistics, food, and tool making industries, the book presents crucial elements of successful EAM. It outlines what executives need to do in terms of governance, processes, methodologies, and culture in order to take their management to the next level. The book moreover describes how EAM might develop in the next decade, allowing today’s managers to prepare for future architecture management.
The book is available as an e-book and in book stores.
The subjects "Management of Enterprise Architecture" and "Project Portfolio Management" are also modules of the certificate program "Business & IT Alignment offered by EBS Executive Education and the Institute of Research on Information Systems (IRIS) at EBS Business School in cooperation with the BPM-Akademie.
