At the end of June, prospective students, pupils and parents were invited to learn more about studying law at EBS Law School. On its Wiesbaden campus around 80 interested participants attending the event series "Discover Law" were informed in detail about the outstanding degree programme as well as the opportunities and prospects offered at EBS Law School.

The information event focused on the legal studies programme at EBS Law School, which combines a traditional legal education with additional elements of a business studies programme, personal development, internationality and multilingualism. Other principal topics included the integrated study abroad experience, the programme's high practical relevance and the law faculty's outstanding research, enabling students to meet the challenges of professional life.

Paul-Albert Schullerus, Business Development Manager, also provided comprehensive information on the admissions process and outlined the wide range of funding opportunities available to those interested in studying at EBS Law School.

Following a detailed presentation on programme structure and content, prospective law students were able to experience a taster lecture giving them a flavour of what it's like to study law at EBS Law School. Professor Matthias Knauff, LLM Eur, Chair of Public Law (in particular German and European Public Commercial Law) at EBS Law School, gave a lecture on the topic: "Europe and Law“. Guests were able to gain first-hand impressions and ask further questions to professors, students and staff members at EBS Law School.

Located on the University's campus in Wiesbaden, EBS Law School offers a fully-fledged, traditional law degree leading to the qualification "Erste juristische Prüfung“ (Staatsexamen) with a specialist focus on business law. A Master in Business (MA), an additional qualification specially coordinated both in terms of organization and content with the Law School curriculum, rounds off the profile of the programme offered at EBS Law School. The degree course is thus an exceptional combination of law and business studies. The next student intake at EBS Law School will be in autumn 2012. The application deadline for the programme is 12 August 2012. Applications can be made online any time at www.ebs.edu/lawschool.

EBS Law School regularly holds the information session "Discover Law" on its Wiesbaden campus, and "Discover Law - on the road" is held at partnering law firms and companies throughout Germany. EBS will also open its doors to the public on Open Day on 13 October 2012. Further details and registration can be found at www.ebs.edu/lawschool.
